Random Stroud: An Aleatory Geography | '4 corners'

   
random stroud image   Using Ordnance Survey grid references and a random number generator, twenty-four sites around Stroud have been identified.
Twenty-four artists, have each to responded in some way to one of the sites.
The project has been jointly organised by Gloucestershire poet Philip Rush and Fred Chance of PhotoStroud.
The works are to be exhibited at The Space Gallery, Lansdown, Stroud in November 08

A series of walks were used to develop images using drawing and photography that were made as part of a project organised with the Stonehouse Neighbourhood Project.
Walks included; the canal tow path near Stonehouse, the Green at Frampton-on Severn and the Cotswold Way through Standish Woods.
